The Identity Service issues and maintains the accounts used to sign in to the shared systems of the Velocity Interoperability Network. One account, issued through a member organisation, gives access to every shared service that a person is entitled to use.

About the Identity Service
The Identity Service operates the sign-in used across the shared systems of the Network. It does not decide who may hold an account; that remains the responsibility of each member organisation. The Service records accounts, verifies sign-ins and closes accounts when they are no longer required.
